Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should I do if my windshield is chipped?

Act quickly! Even small chips can expand into larger cracks. Bring your vehicle in for a chip repair to prevent the need for a full windshield replacement.

  • How long does a windshield replacement take?

Typically, a windshield replacement takes about 1-2 hours. However, it's recommended to wait an additional hour before driving to allow the adhesive to fully set.

  • Can I drive immediately after getting my windshield repaired?

For chip repairs, you can usually drive right away. After a windshield replacement, wait at least one hour for the adhesive to cure properly before hitting the road.

  • Can you repair a windshield with a crack longer than six inches?

Generally, cracks longer than six inches require a full windshield replacement. However, bring your vehicle in for an assessment, and we'll provide the best solution.

  • How can I maintain my new windshield after replacement?

Avoid slamming doors and parking in direct sunlight for the first 24 hours. Regular cleaning with a non-ammonia glass cleaner will help keep your windshield in top condition.
